Cecilia and Margaret are both vogue fanatics, fashion lovers, and overall art history lovers. Reading about the issues in the fashion world, they couldn’t just stand around. Together they created Sloane the Brand. Their goal is to spread awareness around the world, put a stop to fast fashion, and bring art back to to the heart of Texas.

Sloane the Brand (est. 2023) is a sustainble clothing company that works to keep the arts alive, created by high school students Margaret Hohenshelt and Cecilia Chen.

the Sloane Arts Initiative

Texas is facing severe budget cuts to fine arts programs, disproportionately affecting younger generations and public school districts like Socorro ISD or the Houston Public Art Fund. The Sloane Arts Initiative works to inspire an appreciation of art and ensure a proper education in the fine arts to our rising generation.
